From the moment i disembarked from the plane, I knew where I had to go.
I had to go south and bear witness personally to the single most brutal day in the history of the Jews since the Holocuast.
Each time I came across a soldier, male or female, religous or not-yet religous, I went over to each one and thanked them and gave them my Brocha for their successful return to their families.
When we arrived at the Nova exhibit, the site of mass killings, I chanced upon a group of Hereidi Chassidsh soldiers.
Realizing our especially kindred spirits, I grabbed them together in an embrace which brought me to levels not achieved since Yom Kippur.
We hugged and cried and even danced as we concluded our make-shift dance troupe with a rousing “Am Yisroel Chai”!
And if there is one message I convey to all of you it is to come, please come and see for yourself how AM YISROEL CHAI!
