Many of us are looking for  Zechusim for Yisroel ben Esther- that he should have a Refuah Sheleima.

Yisroel is now in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at St. Joseph’s Hospital.

He needs a Refuah Sheleima.

He needs our Tefillos.

Many of you have asked me, “What else can I do?”

I did not know what to answer.

However, today, after speaking to Eli Klein (Yisroel’s father) and with his heartfelt encouragement, I have an answer to your question.

My suggestion does not involve money, nor does it involve much effort.

I am humbly asking all of us to take it upon ourselves to insist – in the same manner we are careful and insistent on only bringing Kosher foods into our homes- that we never allow anyone, child or adult, boy or girl, to ride on any scooter, segway, bicycle, skateboard, or anything other riding apparatus without a helmet.

Let’s make the Passaic-Clifton neighborhood a place where riding without a helmet is not tolerated.

If we all stood united and never allowed children or adults to leave home without a helmet, this would be a tremendous Zechus for Yisroel ben Esther.

Friends, Yisroel ben Esther needs a Refuah Sheleima.

He needs Zechusim.

Yisroel ben Esther needs to be able to dance at his Chasunah.

Let’s be mekabel this on our ourselves.

Who knows what will tip the scales in his favor?

Do we dare not try to awaken every possible Zechus?

In this Zechus, may we all be privileged to dance on Simchas Torah with Yisroel ben Esther.
