Rus is one of my favorite heroines in the Tanach.

She is the one who lives and breathes the famous quote from President Harry Truman. “It's amazing what you can accomplish when you do not care who gets the credit,”

Rus was the one who suggested she gather stalks by Boaz.

She was the one who “demanded “ Boaz marry her.

Yet, she was also the one who allowed her mother in law, Naomi to be considered the “mother” of HER child.

She is a true paradigm of doing whats right without ever worrying who gets the credit!

Indeed, she is an inspiration to all of us of how a Torah life should be led!
